It’s not surprising that the shoulder and hip joints are two of the most frequent sites of injury and pain in Tulsa. These joints have a large range of motion and are used in nearly every activity of our lives, and are therefore very susceptible to stress and injury.
Whether from overuse, sports injuries, or other more subtle causes, injuries to the hip and shoulder result in discomfort, pain, or even complete immobility.
At Travis Chiropractic in Tulsa, we specialize in the care and healing of these two important joints of the body, as well as other causes of arm and leg pain.
If you have chronic pain, it may be due to sources like bursitis, arthritis, or tendinitis. However, we have discovered that subluxations, or misalignments in the spine, cause the vast majority of the chronic arm and leg pain in Tulsa.
After an obvious injury, the body heals over time and you can return to your normal routine. However, when pain begins subtly and increases over time, or when pain seems to come “out of nowhere,” this is often the result of a misalignment of your spinal column that has worsened over time and caused nerve compression or even damage.
Numbness and tingling in fingers associated with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, the electric, shooting pain down the legs associated with Sciatica are just two examples of this kind of pain. If you have these or other chronic arm and leg pain symptoms, it is important to see a professional Chiropractor to find and heal the source of your pain.
When a patient comes in with complaints of arm or leg, we start with a medical history and thorough examination to learn about underlying risks and conditions. We combine this information with state of the art testing to explore the spine and the nerves for signs of damage. Then we can put together a treatment plan specifically for you. Contact us today to learn how you can live free of arm or leg pain in Tulsa.

We are in the office this week Monday - Wednesday normal hours 9:30 am - 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
We are going to be taking very careful measures to ensure your safety and health over the next few weeks. These measures include allowing our patients to stay in their vehicles while they wait for their turn to be treated.
Please call the office when you are in the parking lot (please not before) and we will call you back when we are ready for you. Of course, if you would like to come into the office as normal, this is perfectly acceptable as well.
We will also be bypassing the traction table treatments in order to streamline treatment and allow for further efficiency. Finally, we will be alternating patients in-between the normal adjusting room and the exam room, thus giving our staff an opportunity to thoroughly disinfect the treatment tables IN-BETWEEN EVERY SINGLE PATIENT.
